Celebrating Community Blog Hop!
I talk a lot about the great online community I’m in. I’ve been lucky to not have to deal with much of the cyber bullying and haters. They’re out there, and it pops up now and then, but for the most part I’ve been blessed with some real genuine friends. In my real life too, my neighborhood is kind of like Mayberry, but with lesbians, which makes it all the better in my opinion.
We are currently in the month of Ramadan, a time of introspection, reflection, self-improvement, and spiritual devotion. While I’m not Muslim, you can probably already tell that I have an interest in religion and spirituality, and the rituals and practices that go along with both. For me, at the core of religion is our connection to each other, our community.
Ramadan concludes with Eid al-Fitr (“Eid” means festivity, while “Fitr” means breaking the fast), a celebration of community, togetherness, unity, and—yes—food. This year, I want to celebrate the breaking of the fast with you, my community.

So glad you’re having fun! It’s amazing the personality that’s coming through with people’s posts. I’m not a food person so I didn’t realize how cool this would be
Too bad I am so overbooked today. I love food!!!! But my recipes are awful. “Throw some of this in there, see if that’s enough, if not, add more,” etc.
Put the banner up, looks spiffy! Thanks for including me! I’m looking forward to sharing my post.
